recently tried to clean up and master my self titled track

i started it around the end of 2021. it was the first track i made that i felt was decent enough to be worth releasing someday, the single i have had up of it is what it sounded like at the time.
i didn't really know much about mixing when i made most of the tracks posted on here; when i first started producing i really just put stuff together that sounded good to me using the limited resources i had (and still do haha, i been making everything on a laptop w fuckin mcdonalds speakers and an old ass pair of beats headphones. sound checking with my equally as old broken beats pill that only turns on after whacking it a few times and, up until last month, an iphone 7 that somehow survived way longer than it should of).

the only difference now really is having zappou as a dope collab partner who has taught me a lot about mixing and mastering on top of inspiring me to expand musically altogether. there's a lot of projects out now that i would have never in a million years felt confident enough to release let alone create if it weren't for his support. i'm endlessly grateful for that.

here's a side by side comparison of the tracks as a place of reference. keeping the original single posted for now for idk just cuz. still deciding whether this updated version is what i want to release everywhere else, a lot of me still wants to add more to it but here it is for now. i also might just say fuck it and distribute what i have of it and replace it later when i decide to do more to it again which may or may not be soon. rn i really just wanna get busy w going through other unfinished projects on here and do some better mixing
